Subject: I miss this band
I never got to see this band live. although a friend and I tried around 1990, but the car broke down on the way into town. I regret not seeing them and I blame the VW Rabbit for being such a dissapointment that night. this gig is exactly what i was afraid i missed. although i'm glad they have enough live shows on here to be my missing link, I know my life would have been further enriched if i had been a part of the synergy radiating from this show and all the others. Check out the Who songs! An on-the-spot tribute, brilliant and amazing. Their songs would be more than enough to satisfy the soul, but they transcend perfect with their own humble and impassioned delivery of what makes me complete as a listener. Dear God, I miss this band.

Thanks for sharing this set!!!

Notes

This is the reason you tape shows! In honor of THE WHO being in town at the time, fIREHOSE open their set with 7 WHO covers!!

‘A Quick One…’ made it into a bunch of fIREHOSE sets, but the remainder of the covers I have never seen on any other recordings! Ed was known to bust into ‘Tommy, Can You Hear Me’, or ‘I’m One’ when Mike broke a string, but a Long Live Rock!!??...
The ‘Join Together’ will give ya goose bumps…my favorite performance here.

A big thanks to Mark Schwarz, who recorded this show.

Just so ya didn’t think I was a one trick pony, I seed another band ;))

DO NOT SELL!!
